As always, I absolutely loved this book! But...

They seem to get shorter and shorter. The ending seemed rushed and there is not as much detail as there used to be. It feels like someone other than J.R. Ward is writing Them. The Characters don't have as much depth as they used too..But, I am and will for a fan of The BDB💕

This book was okay. I liked the first book better.
I didn't like the Male narrator. He lacked emotion.
The Story dragged along. The "Love Connection" was lack luster. I wanted this book because of the way Kai and Izzy were written in book 1. I was disappointed that there wasn't more "Love Story". Over all, I liked the Story. Hopefully the next book in the series will be better.

The Warden did it again!

This Novella felt like a Prequel to Dark Lover. I've always wondered how John Mathew and Darius would Split. I always wanted to know more about Darius life with Beth's mother. I thought it was awesome to find out that The Scribe Virgin had a hand in the whole thing.
It makes sense the She would inhabit Boo's cat Body in order to continue looking out for The Blind King and his Family.
I felt like this was Classic J.R. Ward. Her last couple of books felt like someone else had written them. Hopefully, Lassiter's Book will be as awesome as this Novella. Thanks for this Great Gift, Warden!!🥰🥰
