My first Fantasy series, the series that made me fall in love with books (audiobooks to be more specific)
I didn’t know about series that follow another, when I began to realize the series were connected, I thought it was the best and most cleaver thing ever written!
I’ve since learned that it’s a common thing. The thing that continues to impress me about this series, that’s the amount of research that was clearly done for the books sake! She manages to even weave in cool concepts such as a pseudo bachelorette game as well as many other common threads flawlessly without coming across cheesy at all!!!

Ive been listening to this series since the first series The Vampire Wish and have listened though all of the darkword series. Madow leaves you holding your breathe in anticipation in this one and it's certainly one of THE BEST of them all, and that is saying a lot! CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT BOOK!!!!
