Ian McKellen is delightful

I read The Odyssey in high school and I have always loved the story and Greek mythology in general. I am also a gigantic LOTR fan and as soon I saw Ian McKellen’s name I was in! I am a musician and my co-writer and I are attempting to write a number of songs based around the story of the Odyssey. It is so inspiring and a real, honest to goodness adventure story which is why I believe it is so enduring.
I love when actors read because their thespian nature comes out so well. Ian McKellen does different voices for the characters, his pacing is perfect, and the wisdom and depth that are in his voice makes it perfect for such an epic tale. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and will definitely do so again!
