Many tales of horror about German occupation have been told through the ages. Some stories are well-known, the history books and television programs documenting them in wretched detail; others are more obscure: the painful separation of families as they attempted to escape an inevitable future, children snatched at a tender age and hidden, everyone wary and vigilant - and afraid. Those years were heavy and their victims mostly silent.

Rose - I’ve worked hard to get where I am today. I’ve been through my fair share of heartache, so when I get a chance at a new job in a new city, I jump at it. It’s all I’ve got and I am determined to make it work. So when Anthony keeps showing up for coffee at the café I don’t have time to pay him any attention. Then he turns his attention on me and I find myself falling for him. Anthony - I have to build up my father’s company and prove myself to everyone who ever doubted me.
