I have enjoyed Ms. Ione's Demonica series since the beginning. I have everyone of them. The fact that she has created the 2nd generation (the children) has me on pins and needles. I am looking forward to the next one; hopefully it won't be too long. Thank you Ms. Ione.

This was one of the best murder mystery I have ever listened to. Jeff Abbott you rock. If anyone out there is thinking about getting this audio, do it you will not be disappointed. In fact you will be angry it ended. Thank you Jeff.

Great Performance

I just finished listening to this and I must say I truly enjoyed this story, again just a story. If I put any stock into the few reviews I read then I probably would not have listened. However, I believe in forming my own opinions about things only after I have examined them. This was an awesome story and I applaud the performers (Great Job). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and feelings regarding this performance and this is mine👍👍👌👌(Hoping for continuing episodes)😊😊

Love the McKilligans

I have every audio book in this series and most of all of Shelly's other audios. Charlotte Kane ROCKS!!!!!! Just wish I didn't have to wait so long for these stories to come out. I recommend this and all of Ms. Laurenston's books to anyone who likes to listen to quality audios.

Narrator makes the story...............NOT

I have just purchased this audio because I absolutely love Carrie Ann Ryan's books; however I am seriously thinking of asking for a refund of my credit due to this narrator (Gregory Salinas). His voice is monotone and very boring. This is a 3-story audio but I do not think I can listen to this man much longer. Again, the story is GREAT!!!; because I bought the first book and read it which is why I purchased the audio, but please Ms. Ryan, find someone else to narrate your books.

I actually passed this book over for several weeks. The name threw me off, but for some reason I kept coming back to it so I decided to try it out. I am so glad I did; I fell in love with characters immediately. The authors writing was so good, made me feel like I could connect with the subjects. If there is anyone out there thinking about reading or listening to this story all I can say is you will not be disappointed.

Where in the world is Charlotte Kane???

I continue to love these stories, but I do not like this narrator. Why did she change Bo Novokoff's accent, Dee Ann's southern drawl.....WHY???

Great Story/Bad Narrator

If you could sum up Private in three words, what would they be?

Suspenseful/Mysterious/Interesting

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jack, of course

What didn’t you like about Peter Hermann’s performance?

Voice/speaking was monotone, and when narrating other characters I could not detect a difference. Especially the female parts. I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks and a lot of male narrators have a decent change when speaking a female part; but Peter Hermann needs to work on this.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really; most of my audiobooks are for when I am traveling for work. Which is weekly, so I like that i can listen a little every other day.

Any additional comments?

I have never listened to or read any books by James Patterson. But after listening to Private I may start. The story line held my interest even with the not so preferred narration.
