My listening experience reminded me of Oliver Goldsmith poem:

At church, with meek and unaffected grace,
His looks adorn'd the venerable place;
Truth from his lips prevailed with double sway,
And fools, who came to scoff, remain'd to pray.
~~ Oliver Goldsmith (1728–1774), Anglo-Irish author, poet, playwright. The Deserted Village, l. 177-180 (1770).

This is also a deliberate reference - even though Omarosa is an independent spirited woman, threatened men will treat her harsher than a regular Joe.

I am guilty of the same - bought this book surreptitiously like buying a tabloid like National Enquirer or a gossip magazine like In Touch.

I was surprised at the detail and thought put in Omarosa’s narration of her life journey. You have to strip off the obvious self-promotion and dog eat dog world catty comments, to see a woman that has handled pain with courage and grew to some stature in a man's world. In this book she seemed to be making more of a statement of who she is and why she did this or that rather than just a steamy tell all leaker - hawking pretty unsavory secrets like the hired help spilling beans on the master’s spoiled sheets.

Bravo, a good book that depicts a fighter and one that is intelligent too - definitely a dangerous foe.

Very topical and though toungue in cheek, young people of color should take serious note. Do not endanger the flower and youth of your being by being careless with what has become a clear and present danger. I commend the author for giving such timely Big Brother advice without loosing his sanity or humour.

Candid yet not catty - sincere with a license to tone the narrative as almost fiction. Very pleasant entertaining read but I doubt it will have much consequence. There are more dangerous threats for Trump like Mueller.
