If you’re a fan of Grey’s Anatomy, you know why the storyline’s familiar—right down to the over use of “seriously”.
I understand a writer’s need to stretch their chops a bit, but this borders on ridiculous.

Back away…RUN away! But DO read the book!

This book, though quite shallow, is fairly entertaining, and I would recommend it for a fun, leisurely read. However, the narrator’s delivery nearly ruined it for me. While she does attempt to vary her pitch for the different characters, her rate and cadence, which is very strident and monotonous, remains the same with each.
Upon reconsidering my review, I have to conclude that the storyline is likely even better than originally stated, given that I finished in spite of the narration. I gave one star only because I had to.
