Okay, let me start off by saying this book was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. I don't how L.J. Shen does it, but she always comes through with EPIC writing. I mean, to be honest: I wasn't fond of some of the sex scenes. However, the various twists and turns at the books climax made up for it. (Just my two cents). I literally just finished the book and am still reeling from all the pieces of the puzzle coming together. I swear, L.J. Shen is a master of suspense/drama/ and non-cheesy dialogue. And towards the end: I DID NOT SEE ANY OF IT COMING. If you decide to read this book, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. #nospoilershere. Again, mind blown.

BIG FRIGGIN' WOWWWWWW!!!!!

Gah! Where do I start? Well first let me say I was pleasantly surprised by this book; this is my first book from this author, and she did NOT disappoint. From the opening line I was hooked, and could not put it down. Even now I'm shook. Holy hell; does this book grip you in the feels. I cried, actually cried towards the end. This book has so many surprising twists and turns (more so towards the end) that you don't see coming. It will cause you to fall in-love with the characters: there was so much depth and emotion shown in all of them. This talented author has a new fan. Her writing skills are off the charts. Can't wait to read the second installment.

SHORT AND SWEET. HOOKED ME FROM THE START!!!

I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. This is my first time reading one of the author's books and my goodness, she didn't disappoint. I loved the characters. Loved the way this story was written. I felt every word the author encapsulated in this story. Lots of raw emotion, a little angst, and great chemistry. And the narrator's OMG; they did a phenomenal job, the accents were spot on. Overall, I'm so pleased with it. Great, Great, read.

As usual, J.T. Geissinger has done it again. My first introduction to this author was actually with book #1 of this series. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. It was such a funny, entertaining, intelligent read. Definitely worth it.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

This is the book that made me a fan of Sara Ney (haven't looked back since). It's such a refreshing read; not the typical 'jock meets girl' scenario here. This meet-and-cute is just what the doctor ordered: not too sweet, not a lot of angst. The perfect character development that works well with the storyline. Rowdy and Scarlet's chemistry is amazing; so candid and real. I think what ultimately did it for me, was the phenomenal banter. It's funny, clever, sexy; no cheese at all. Can't wait for the sequel: "Jock Rule." The paperback/e-version has a prequel to Kip Carmichael and Theodora "Teddy" Johnson's story. Seems adorably cute too. Check it out. You won't regret it!!!!

LIKED IT BUT DIDN'T LOVE IT!

I was so excited to read this book. I'd read the first book in this series and absolutely LOVED IT. I was certain that this second addition would be the same. Not exactly. In the beginning, it gripped my attention, sucking me all the way in. Then, as the story developed I found myself cringing (not because of the writing) but because of the amount of violence it had. FYI: I'd read the reviews previously and had decided give it go anyhow. Let me tell you, several of them were right. It had WAY TOO MUCH VIOLENCE. I was frustrated that the author hadn't allowed the character's (mainly Hannah) to have some sort of reprieve. I felt like there were 'happy' moments just not enough. Granted, I like the angle of the story. I love a bit of suspense and angst. However, I felt like this book was too angsty. Other than that, it was actually good. I love the way this author writes; so descriptive and well thought out. 4-star's.

BEYOND AMAZING!!!

This was my first introduction to Claudia Connor's work, and I have to say she did not disappoint. From the beginning it sucked me in and I was enthralled with the plot, writing, and personable characters. This author writes with heart, and I'm not one to cry while reading a novel but this gripped me in all the feels. I especially loved Matt's family dynamic. They were so loving (maybe not at first) but after a while came around and showered Abby with love. I can't say it enough, BEAUTIFUL STORY! Claudia definitely has a new fan.

Lauren Layne is such a great writer. I really loved the plot of this book. It starts off great in the beginning. But then it went slow. However, it picked back up again with an element of suspense and surprise toward the end.
Definitely worth the credit.

SPECTACULAR WRITING! NEW FAN!!!!!

This was my first time reading Kandi Steiner's work (read book too both were good) and let me tell you...it was AMAZING!! This book encapsulates everything readers look for in a great book. A little angst, romance, and stunning writing that draws you in. I've read/listened to a lot of books by a lot of author's. I've come across plenty bad apples that were a total waste of time. But this...this right here...is a GEM. It took me by surprise. It was two-fold; the first part dealt with the H's insecurities, self-esteem issues., and learning who she was after a bad break-up. The second; a BLAST of suspense. YOU DON'T SEE IT COMING. I found myself listening into the wee hours of the night because the sudden chaos made me want to find out the outcome. I loved how this author used little tell-tale signs throughout each chapter and it was thoroughly executed towards the end. She didn't leave you hanging wondering what various things meant. Everything made sense, and was cleverly woven together. Again I can't stress how awesome it was to read a book that was beautifully executed. I'm excited to explore more from this author. 5-Stars!!!!
