Luv Willie and his music!!

I have always been a fan of Willie Nelson. After this book and having met him once on his bus after a performance, I am in total awe and filled with admiration for him and his family.

Narrator was not very good

Did not care for this Tom Clancy book at all. I’ll not purchase another book by Mark Cameron. Way to scattered and disconnected

I’ll not buy another Tom Clancy book written by Mike Madden. Unbelievable and boring at the same time. You need to stick with Mark Greany.

This book was juvenile and unbelievable. I stopped listening less than half way through. I want my money back on this one. This author should read other thrillers by authors with better writing skills before attempting another book.

Best Grisham book

This is John Grisham's best book ever. I couldn't stop listening. Congratulations!!! I'm looking forward to the next one. I hope it's soon.

What would have made A Time for Patriots better?

This is a combination of a boys book about the Civil Air Patrol and some convoluted anarchist plot. It died not hang together at all.

What could Dale Brown have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Rewrite the plot in a more believable format.

What didn’t you like about William Dufris’s performance?

All of his voices sounded like disgruntled teenagers, even the older ones. The rancher's voice was just lame. The boy sounded like he was 12 not 18.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Time for Patriots?

All the technical stuff about the CAP. I think he should have scrapped the whole thing and started over.

Any additional comments?

I have read several of Dan Brown's novels and found them to be, at least, entertaining, although I have never rated him as high as Baldacci or some others. This one, however was forgettable and just plain dumb.

It is frightening that a writer of this stature would think that this is the way to change our government.
