Historia
If technology is the new addiction, then multitasking is the new marching order. With our never-ending to-do lists and jam-packed schedules, it's no wonder we're distracted. But this isn't the way it has to be. Special education teacher, New York Times best-selling author, and mother Rachel Macy Stafford says enough is enough. Tired of losing track of what matters most in life, Rachel began practicing simple strategies that enabled her to momentarily let go of largely meaningless distractions and engage in meaningful soul-to-soul connections.

Eye opening, but
Revisado: 01-25-21
This book was a good eye opening read about the distractions of technology. I picked it up because i needed to mainly cut down my phone usage. Love the concept, but disliked her every day scenario of what she does hands free! No help on actually curving the addiction. Also the always being available for our children, agree, but the house has to be cleaned and dinner has to be made and no, I can’t stop washing the dishes to give my children my full attention 100% of the time. Sometimes, of course! All the time? Nope!

Not terrible, not a captivating!
Revisado: 04-14-20
This is not a book you will remember! This is not a book that will captivate you and shake your core, but is is not terribly bad! It is a good listen for when you don’t have to pay close attention to a book, like cleaning! The last part was a bit better than the first. I feel bad leaving a less than perfect review but felt like it because, gosh darn it, it had so many good reviews and people that have read hundreds of books just need to know this is not that great!

Historia
Amber Patterson is fed up. She's tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more - a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted. To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne - a socialite and philanthropist - and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale. Amber's envy could eat her alive...if she didn't have a plan.

boring and hard to keep listening.
Revisado: 02-25-19
It has a good story line, but it was very predictable and very boring to follow along. i had such high expectations due to all the good reviews.

Historia
When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.
