Historia
An ultimate orgasm is your personal best orgasm. It doesn't leave anything at the table. It doesn't want anything more. It lasts as long as it lasts. It takes as long as it takes. It's as messy and loud or quiet and tidy as you like. It has no room for shame or apology. An ultimate orgasm comes from questioning, exploring, and experimenting, with no concern for how society or religion or anything else defines sex or female orgasm. The ultimate orgasm belongs to you and only you and it is your responsibility to find it, to have it, and to keep it.

O ...Wow?
Revisado: 02-15-22
There was some new/useful information. Not a technique-heavy book, but there are a few chapters that would benefit from having a PDF supplement. (I also have the Kindle version, so that helped me follow along at my own pace when doing some of the exercises, but there should still be some sort of handout for the audio version.)
The author mainly draws on her experiences as a participant in Bodysex workshops and as a lesbian lover to provide certain perspectives and techniques to help liberate the female orgasm. I can't say I agreed with all the philosophies presented in the book but I did get some positive experiences from it. And some new insights on how outside influences can have heavy impact on orgasm, if we don't address them.

Historia
Mariana Andros is a brilliant but troubled group therapist who becomes fixated on The Maidens when one member, a friend of Mariana’s niece Zoe, is found murdered in Cambridge. Mariana, who was once herself a student at the university, quickly suspects that behind the idyllic beauty of the spires and turrets, and beneath the ancient traditions, lies something sinister. And she becomes convinced that, despite his alibi, Edward Fosca is guilty of the murder. But why would the professor target one of his students?

Slow Burn with a Twist
Revisado: 02-15-22
I got this book as part of the Book of the Month subscription box. Had a hard time getting it started on my own, so I bought the audiobook. I thought it was me, but the pacing is a bit slow for a thriller and they spend a lot more time on speculation and inner thought than action and momentum. If you're expecting a page turner, this is not it.
HOWEVER, the author does give you enough foreshadowing and possible suspects to keep you guessing, culminating in a final twist that was definitely a surprise. If you can make it through the long deliberations and conversations and casual strolls from one campus building to another, it's worth the wait.
There might be some re-readability on this one, to see if more clues were dropped that I just wasn't paying attention to (because the narration was pleasant enough to make me slightly drowsy), but for now I can only say that the second book in the Silent Patient universe was good. Not as powerful as the first, but definitely stands on its own merit.
