Concept sounds great, but I it's too long

The concept sounds great and i am convinced to really try this out. If this was a 15 minute book it would have been great.
But at this length its constantly repeating the same thing

Excellent 101 of Philosophy in a light Tone

This is a Philosophy 101/Overview book - it covers a very broad range in basic depth. It's very light and tries to be funny/light at all times. That sometimes is not ideal (at least for me) but it's really effective in reducing complex topics down to a small size so that they can be easily digested by most readers

Even though I agree with his philosophy proposed at the end, I still see that the author strawman's and at times ridicules that strawman for all philosophies in a way that helps shape his narrative/opinion

That's not perfect - but it's more than good enough if you focus on the goal of the writer - which is to make this way of thinking relevant and even attractive to a much wider audience.

Intro to Rationality

This is an excellent book that reads like an intro to Rationality class at a University. Even though it's an intro to Rationality it can be very helpful to everyone

Great LitRPG Book and Series

Way of the Shaman is one of the best LitRPG books and series . If you are looking for the next LitRPG series it's worth diving into it

Empty story - Just action

The story is very intriguing at first. But 98% of the book is mindless action similar to tom & Jerry or Die hard. Book tries really hard to be "The Martian" but it's as if someone with no understanding of plot or nuance tried to replicate it without understanding what made it great. Narrator great as always

Good but keeps deteriorating

Story is still great but the majority of the book are unnecessarily long action scenes which at least i do not enjoy

The series has quite an interesting concept with novel ideas. every further book of the series it seems that is fillled with more war scenes (boring) and less story progress

Not a good book - story very weak - great narator

If you are looking to Artemis because you loved the Martian... then Run away.

Artemis doesnt really have a good story. It follows the exact same formula of twists and turns of the Martial but with uninteresting content and stretched/exaggerated events.

Great start, then overly dramatic

the book started great. an interesting story, a great narrator and lots of new things to think about.

halfway through there wasn't any further story and instead there was over dramatization

Could love it, could have it. i did both

story is good and engaging once you get into it , making it difficult to stop listening (the love part)

i personally hate the American dream theme, the conspiracy theories, and the constant history references - it felt like the author was trying really hard to provide something that will make Americans proud and that make me feel hostile in the whole book given that 2017 is weird year to say the least

I am happy that the afterword covered that, and if that was a preword it could have actually made the listening experience much more enjoyable
