Historia
100% of marriages that end in divorce are cited for "irreconcilable differences." Things that brought couples together are now tearing them apart. Simple occasional frustrations have morphed into everyday fights causing complex fractures. Marriages are miserable, families are affected, and the equation for a marriage made one is elusive. In Two Equals One, Jimmy and Irene Rollins introduce you to a solution that is counter-cultural to a society that encourages you to give up, to not give your spouse any more chances, or use pain as permission to step out on your spouse.

Great Book but had a rough time with Irine holding most the weight in the story of the distinctional years 🙄
Revisado: 03-25-25
As I said in winded title I feel Irine held an unfair amount of weight and or responsibility of the disfuctional years. I liked the outline but small but major hiccups hit me hard in for example the tiger and the turtle story. Jimmy is considered the tiger 🐯 and Irine the turtle 🐢. The tiger sounds like an excuse to be loud, disrespectful in tone and aggressive with lack of respect for boundaries as just a character trait rather than simply having poor emotional intelligence and lack of general awareness of personal flaws in character. The turtle seems to down play the strength of people who take time to reflect on heavy subjects, speak aim to respond when cooled down to speak in a respective tone and generally are more self aware....Recovering tiger 🐯 here. I just felt Jimmy's Tiger side got a pass and sounded more like an excuse for what was probably a huge fueler towards Irines drinking that he seems to only partially lightly touch on when I feel he probably played a huge role in the progression of her drinking. All in all I see them as a power couple but Irine seems to perhaps not even knowing it be way stronger, self accountable (perhaps even to the extreme) and felt Jimmy lacking his full ownership of his part which was made apperant through his arrogant undertones and lack of matching ownership and practice of humility he shines so much light on being of almost upmost importance as a major theme in the book. 🤔...Still thought the book was worth the purchase and loved the back and forth but feel Irines AA influence has her perhaps her holding a bit more than I get the sense she was responsible for from an out lookers perspective. Hope to see a revision were Jimmy can step up a little bit more if I haven't emphasized that enough already lol. Anyhow, that's my winded review 👍

Your wife has been giving you signals to tell you something is wrong and one day, you wake up to a slap in the face. She says something along the lines of: I want to separate, I need some space to figure things out, I think we should divorce, I can’t do this anymore, I cheated on you, or the classic ‘I love you but I’m not in love with you.’

Damn 🙄 got my money
Revisado: 10-16-24
This book like another review said seems to be focused on getting you to buy into an experience program with little hope of being able to get true value out of the book without it. 🙄....Wish I would had heard the author was a narcissist in the sample preview audio. I will be reaching out to Audible tommaro for a refund
