Scottlad and Romance at its best
Revisado: 12-24-23
However, i wish the sex was R rated insead of X. Most of the history I wasn't aware. Eye opening. The English can not point fingers oat Amerans for past mistakes. As disgusted a we are regarding our treatment of meca indians and african americans.
As an eldery romantic, wish there was such a thing as between Jamie & Claire.

Eleven-year-old Amrie St. Pierre is catching tadpoles with her friend Finn O'Reilly when the Federal fleet first steams up the Mississippi River in the spring of 1862. With the surrender of New Orleans, Amrie's sleepy little village of St. Francisville - strategically located between the last river outposts of Vicksburg and Port Hudson - is now frighteningly vulnerable. As the roar of canons inches ever closer and food, shoes, and life-giving medicines become increasingly scarce, Amrie is forced to grow up fast.

Historia
With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits. Iona arrives in Ireland with nothing but her Nan’s directions, an unfailingly optimistic attitude, and an innate talent with horses.

Come On!!!!
Revisado: 11-05-19
Less graphics on the munitions. We, who have hunted know what any bullet damage does and do not need to know the confusing difference of the articles of death. A gun is a gun, automatic or not, death is death. With that aside this is my first Clancy other than movies. I think I read about Honor and Japanese years and years ago. The guts of the novel is great, action, on the edge of my seat!! What I like is there is a hint of sex but no T&A. Bravo!!!

The ending of the series.
Revisado: 12-08-18
I lived in Montana in the 50's - the 20st Century, with a stopover in Hawaii during the VN War. I grew up with men and women very much like Longmire. Loyal, dedicated, rigid. I was married to a Montanan for 25 bloody years, I guess loyalty only applies to ones views lately. I had six brothers all as hard headed, however they we were not blessed with Walt's genius. We that went to college still did not have that grain of intelligence. I loved George Guidall's voice for Walt, reminds me of a great friend, right down to the humor. I loved all of the books, with the exception of the final, the end. I do not dispute how the US government threw him under the bus than loose their drug money from Mexico, however I guess I needed closure from Henry, Omar, and all of the other people I let into my heart. I can understand but I see it in other authors, popular equals disappointments.
