Oh my, your Reverence
Revisado: 10-12-20
Ellie / Noah - let's just say; any man that can talk a woman into an orgasm is my kind of hero. Holy Hell Noah was AMAZING. Ellie is looking for a respectful job (as opposed to her current job of stripping) and applies to be a minister's assistant in the newly purchased church in Virgin River. At the interview Noah knows there is no way in hell he will ever hire the stripper as his assistant. When Ellie starts work the next day, she turns out to be a God send. She is smart, brash, funny, hard working. As things evolve, Noah finds himself 100% invested in Ellie's happiness even if it means confronting her psycho ex husband who is keeping her children from her.
Vanny / Paul - Poor Paul. "how can you love and hate the same thing about a man?" I adore Paul, he is probably one of my favorite men. In fact, I can't reread his story because it is too angsty for me. Paul deserves more than a H.E.A. but he is always put in such precarious situations. He does prevail and I loved the secondary story with them.
Shelby / Luke - YEAH! the wedding and first peak into all of Luke's brothers in one room and let me just say - I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM.

I understand her anger and freakout.
Revisado: 08-09-17
I enjoyed this book enough to read the next one, even though I have read some ugly reviews. I liked the characters. I loved them in the prequel. I knew him to be rash and her to be a little over reactive, but was excited to see their story play out.
I get he thought of them and lived with his mistake, but I don't think he tried enough ... Not until they were convenient for him. I get her as only a mother would.

“I believe that if you’ve been through hell and you come out the other side, you appreciate the little things more.”
Beautiful story. This book is 2 stories weaved together.
Katy gets pregnant at a very early age in a time when things like that are highly frowned upon. Lots of grown up decisions are forced on her and some taken from her. She is sent away to live with her aunt in order to not disgrace the family. After tragic incidents occur, Kate decides to become a paramedic after marrying her high school sweetheart.
Ryan was a punk kid with no responsibilities until a tragic incident turns his life around. Now, he is a doctor in Canada with a family.
Though destiny, these 2 people from different parts of the world will come together after many trials and tribulations.

Piper has always been the nosey, pipsqueak, loving sibling in the McKenna household. Her heart is too big and she believes in everyone and everything. She always sees the good in people and situation. She is fiercely loyal to God and her family. When her brother is arrested for the murder of his teammate, she knows he is innocent. She sets out on her own to find the real killer ... putting her life at risk. Landon - an "adopted" brother - knows he will have to put aside his job as Deputy to keep the woman he loves safe - even is she could never love him the same way. Piper is not sure when it happened, but she is seeing Landon in a whole new light - He is gruff, but so handsome. If only he would see her as a woman instead of "pipsqueak".
We also get a peak into Gage and his past - along with his feelings toward God.

GAGE, GAGE, GAGE - OH MY!
Revisado: 07-18-17
AMAZING. Better than the first two and those were amazing as well. all of her books start with a bang and don't stop. I could not put it down until I was finished. Gage and Darcy "run" into each other an Gage is a judgmental and obstinate as ever - He questions Darcy's character which in turn make her question herself.

Book 5 in Alaskan Courage series. Best series eve
Revisado: 07-18-17
Kirra is a native of Yancy who went away for college but has returned to take over her dad's vet clinic. We know that from Kayden and Jake's book. Kirra is the neice of an Iditarod racer, Frank, who is forced to leave the race and break the law. Kirra's cousin, Meg, is kidnapped to insure Frank completes his task before the race ends.
Reef McKenna is the last of his family to find God and love. He is Kirra's life long nemesis (since age 5 when he called her stinky girl at recess) and SAR partner during the race. When they discover Meg has been kidnapped and Frank is being forced to do things he would never consider, they band together to save each other and Kirra's family.
I have loved each and every book in this series. Every book including this one starts off with action and suspense and never looses momentum.

This was disturbing, graphic, gross. I can't even wrap my mind around the fact that this could probably happen.
Pieces of dead bodies are being found scattered along the highway in rural Tennessee. The FBI is called in to assist the local FBI and - "I don't really want to get involved" sheriff's office.
