Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Historia
It’s been three weeks since Jacob Merely crash-landed on the mythical island of Lycastia, and the newly minted War God finally has things under control. He’s grown into his power, built his city, and earned the respect of his gorgeous, hard-charging amazons. He’s not in the clear yet, though. Hades still lives, and the mystical sigil holding him at bay is rapidly failing. Worse, a horde of new enemies is battering Lycastia’s gates daily, slowly grinding down Jacob’s forces. But Jacob has a plan to get the upper hand.

Inconsistancies
Revisado: 05-29-19
I struggled to even listen to this. The hero is incompetent as a gamer and also as a general. The female 'seduction' voices made me shudder in horror. So.. good guys have to level and collect to make the troops but the bad guy gets free unlimited troops! The good guy needs levels to get to the advanced tech but not the bad guy! The bad guy is obviously a super douch as his success means the end of everything that he might love back in the real world. He hated his parents relatives and all humanity!! really!

Historia
Captain William Sparhawk flies Earth's single starship on a voyage of exploration. His crew of veteran spacers begins the mission with high hopes and the best of intentions, but the universe has other plans. Instead of space merchants and potential allies, they discover Earth's impending doom. Sparhawk must decide whether to hunt down enemy scouts to keep Earth's new starship a secret or to head home to warn Star Guard of the danger. Either way, he's ignited an interstellar war.

Story of a lecherous space captain!
Revisado: 11-29-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
The conception story is great. It has a great deal of potential but falls down on predictability!
There are too many "argumentative irrational' characters. The hero of the book is a lecherous idiot who cant keep it in his pants and seems not to understands the basics of military hierarchy
The odd thing about the series it that is not unenjoyable if you can grit your teeth though illogical argument, science and action resolutions.
.
If you’ve listened to books by B. V. Larson before, how does this one compare?
Yes. All of his previous series. Mr Larson is getting to a point where his stories follow a formula. The biggest factor in the predictability being a hero who is lecherous, luck and unkillable. However this one I didn't find myself liking like the others, and that may have been the pompous tone added by the narrator.
What aspect of Edoardo Ballerini’s performance would you have changed?
HIs pompous tones. This is supposed to be a lord who chose to live as a space guard. He has lived amongst them for a very long time yet he talks to them as a pompous ass.
Could you see Dreadnought being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Perhaps. I would watch it as a TV series but that's me and SciFi.
Any additional comments?
Has promise as a theory but does quite execute but could. By the way not every other species/ colony (in this case) is likely to fire on sight and be irrational to logical argument.
