Historia
In the chaos following World War II, the US government faced many difficult decisions, including what to do with the Third Reich's scientific minds. These were the brains behind the Nazis' once-indomitable war machine. So began Operation Paperclip, a decades-long, covert project to bring Hitler's scientists and their families to the United States. Many of these men were accused of war crimes, and others had stood trial at Nuremberg; one was convicted of mass murder and slavery.

Right or wrong?

This book really got me thinking about how we view history. Are we always right? Does the end justify the means at which they were achieved?

A favorite of mine since, well, forever
Revisado: 09-20-23
I remember reading The Hunt for Red October while in Nuclear Power School in the US Navy in 1986. I read The Cardinal of the Kremlin in paperback when it first came out in 1988. I love this book and the whole Jack Ryan series in its original writing. The books are always better than the movies and, as of late, the television series. Listening to books on Audible has been awesome. As I get older, I enjoy going on walks/runs while listening to books. They're also nice for driving long distances.

Historia
A lifelong pursuit of knowing God should embody the Christian's existence. According to eminent theologian J.I. Packer, however, Christians have become enchanted by modern skepticism and have joined the "gigantic conspiracy of misdirection" by failing to put first things first. Knowing God aims to redirect our attention to the simple, deep truth that to know God is to love His Word.

Historia
Mr. Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease like scurvy or pellagra aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in modem mans diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics, and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.
