Everything seemed fine till the ending. Then it was all rushed.
Lots of good development up till the end - it just leaps off a cliff.
Not a bad production overall.

Fun little adventure

A little romp around the universe of a few individuals trying to make sense of it all. It was decently directed, acted and written! Wish it was a full length novel!

No one else could make a book, let alone a series, like this come to life like he does. What an incredible continuation of the world and people set in it. I felt tension the whole way through and it never disappointed. Well, it did disappoint in one way: it’s about half as long as I’d wish!!!

Well, the author blatantly stated “I’m gunna write this as the facts and not my biased opinion,” and proceeds to offer … well…. Lots of opinion *facepalm*

One of the best of fantasy stories

Doesn’t get much better. Everything’s woven together in a — dare I say — magical way. It’s quite fun, even as a repeat listen. TGR is perhaps the best narrator for the job and brings life to every character. To have this much scope and not have soooo many things fall through the cracks is nothing short of creative genius.

Engaging, almost all the way through. A bit of a lul compared to the rest of the account toward the end, but none the less an impressive account of - dare I say it - endurance. A fun and inspiring read.

Not quite the same..

If the first 10 were 10’s, this is a 5. Stuff happening just for the sake of happening. TLOU rip off’s. Underwhelming - and forced - deaths of characters. Getting into more “plot” and less action, consequently opening the door for glaring holes in said plot. Very surprised at the turn in quality but not to the point I’d give up on the series.

This won’t effect everyone, so take this with the grain: from the start, if you hate how someone whistles when pronouncing words with an “s” or “c,” you’re gunna get slapped with those here. Again, not a “bad” thing, just beware.

The real reason for the 2-star is how blindingly oblivious the main character is to the world. Blind as a bat, and loose as a goose. I’ve known people like this and they aren’t this stupid so it was difficult to not heckle every other sentence (PUN INTENDED).

Just too many holes to ignore that strikingly conflicted with each other that there was no gripping interest. Felt more like a low budget movie, unfortunately.
