You enjoy informative, thought provoking storytelling and from a black woman’s lens. Zeba did an amazing job at using different topics to circle back to one bigger topic - Carefree Black Girls. This is a must read, not once but twice.

Perfect guide for recent grads

For obvious reasons the title alone caught my attention. I’ve been saying since I️ graduated, “there needs to be a transition counselor from school to real world.” With this book I️ feel like that is exactly what I️ got. Sam made the information easy and digestible. I️ can’t wait to read the rest of the volumes.

Better than synopsis describes

Obviously the synopsis was written well enough for me to read. However, it didn't begin to describe how good this book is. It is well written, funny, and has a great twist when you least expect it. The woman reading the book did well with using different voices for each character - which there are quite a few. Now that I'm done with the book I will start the show. Great job to this Laine and Caroline.

Well written with a twist

I wasn't sure how well this book would be written sense there has been plenty of movies and books written with the same plot. But I am glad I decided to listen to it. It kept me on the edge of my seat with the suspense and complexity of all the characters up until the very last sentence. If you like suspense and believable modern day story, this is your book.

Life lessons that are better than listening to your boring family member tell theirs

I was skeptical about this book at first because what could a comedian right about for 12 hours? Luckily for me, it was very funny and well written. Kevin did well with the reading with different expressions while making it funny. If you're like me wondering what he could possibly tell you for 12 hours, take the leap to read it. At the very least you'll be laughing while stuck in traffic instead of getting road rage. E
