Historia
There are whispers about what lurks in Witch Knell—the forest where sinners go to die. The villagers call it The Eating Woods because what's taken is never given back. Only those who've lost their senses would dare to go near it. Or the banished. Maevyth Bronwick knows better than to breach the misty labyrinth of trees, but a tragic turn of events compels her beyond the archway of bones to a boundary no mortal has crossed before. One that cloaks a dark and fantastical world that's as dangerous as it is alluring. It's there that he dwells, the cursed lord of Eidolon.

Historia
Everything Poppy has ever believed in is a lie, including the man she was falling in love with. Thrust among those who see her as a symbol of a monstrous kingdom, she barely knows who she is without the veil of the Maiden. But what she does know is that nothing is as dangerous to her as him. The Dark One. The Prince of Atlantia. He wants her to fight him, and that’s one order she’s more than happy to obey. He may have taken her, but he will never have her.

The narrator is exemplary
Revisado: 03-18-25
I love the two main characters, Casteel and Poppy. I’m hoping that more of the Keenan’s story will be told. And I could do with less sex. It’s a good story but the unnecessary sexual scenes between Poppy and can get a little tiring.

Great story! Sad ending
Revisado: 03-07-25
I enjoyed the story very much. Lots of intrigue and suspense, but the ending was a let down. I hated the ending. I always want to see a happy ending. This one left me feeling sad. Who wants to feel sad at the end of a story? Great writing and narration, though.

A good story
Revisado: 03-21-24
The only criticism I have is regarding the end of the story. It got boring and unnecessarily long with too much inner dialogue, particularly by the young woman. Other than that, it was pretty good.

Likable story, Annoying heroine,
Revisado: 02-13-24
The heroine in this story is aggravating! She constantly makes stupid mistakes and never seems to learn from them. It’s not a bad story, I just wish the heroine wasn’t quite so cheesy. It’s light reading for those looking for something a little entertaining but not deep.

Pretty good really even though a little cheesy. It’ll be interesting to see how the characters develop in the next installment. Lots of room for progress. It’ll also be interesting, though bittersweet, to see how the threesome is resolved. This is light entertainment but very enjoyable.

A gripping thriller that will shock you to the core. Controlled all her life by her religious mother, 15-year-old Kelly Raven commits the ultimate sin. She soon discovers that running away to the cold, frightening streets of London is less harsh than her previous life. A drug dealer, two fraudsters, and a prostitute are her new family now, and she becomes the woman she was destined to be. Little does she know that Eddie Raven is coming for her, but she is no sweet four-year-old child, and he is certainly no doting father.
