First of all let me start by saying that this book should start with a warning from the author. Anyone who has been in a very very abusive relationship and have children with the person that’s abusing them this maybe a trigger for them as it was for me it was very hard for me to listen to this book. I had to take breaks in between listening to this book. I wish I would’ve known this before I listened to this book. Other reviewers hinted at triggers but did not go into detail well I’m about to go into details Spoiler Alert there is abusing, hitting, slapping, choking, raping, gun in the mouth, gun to the head, gun between the legs, blackmailing, and painting the person as a abuser to her own child. I know how this feels to be in this type of situation/relationship. This author got it completely right I just wish that I would’ve known about everything this young lady went through I’m sorry but I wouldn’t have listened from the catalog. So ladies beware this book hits the nail right on the head when it comes to women with a child or children being in a really abusive relationship. I’m gonna try to push through to finish this book, because I believe there’s a happily ever after for this couple.

Had Everything

This book had everything, but the book was just too long for me. The 2nd and 3rd books are long also, and I just don’t like mysteries 😕. This is a good story, but I feel that the story didn’t have to be this long to be the first of 3 books. I don’t know if I will finish the series.

I can't stand all back, and forward between now and then. Going backward, and forward gave me whiplash. Other then that the book was ok It kept me interested. So if you don't mind all the backwards and forwards then this is a good book for you.

NOT FOR ME

WARNING! if you're looking for a book with much of a story plot like the first book than STOP! This isn't it, but if you're looking for Erotica than you've found it. I mean I shouldn't say that there isn't any type of plot. This story is very much different from the first one. Not as dark as the first book. SPOILER ALERT: and I didn't think that Sebastian would share her multiple times, you see I'm not into those types of books. This book was in some ways as big on the shock meter as the first one. The one good thing that I can say about both books is that I couldn't seem to stop listening although there was a lot happening that made me feel sick to the stomach much of the time. I just couldn't stop listening in a way that's crazy within itself.

WARNING! 😣 this book isn't for the faint of heart people. This book has verbal, and physical abuse in it so if these are triggers for you than I would think twice about this one. This first book is very very dark.

Male Narrator SMH

I couldn't deal with the male narrator's voice, but I was able to make it to the end only, because I wanted to see how it ended. I won't be continuing with this series, because of this Narrator. He's not completely horrible it's just his voice is irritating to me. The female Narrator did an excellent job.

This book was just ok for me. Very frustrating at times, I really dislike cheaters no matter what the situation is a person should never choose that path for any reason close one door, before opening another. I wanted so much for this book to be a keeper, but sadly “it’s a no for me dog” 😕
