Good but too woo/fake for me

The good: offered a unique perspective on life, with useful training to enhance awareness, take responsibility for our experiences and create a better inner life.

The bad: at the end he went into mind reading, teleporting objects, cursing people by looking at their photos, energy portals, etc ... this made the author seem less credible to me, and so I'm not sure if his advice is based on reality or superstitious assumptions.

Confusion: The author also went deep into foreign words making it difficult to understand what he's talking about. Some sentences sounded a bit like this : The (????) opens (????) because (????) energy has more (????) than (?????).

The worst: This book hinted at solutions and superpowers, but skipped past many solutions, and basically advertised Sadhguru's yogic training center, as if it is a magical place with unique energy portals, perfectly aligned with the Earth's magnetic field and other nonsense.

I thought this book was going to be fairly lame, but it actually went quite deep into different aspects of the mind, our emotions, the stories we tell ourselves, the thoughts, behaviors and interpretations that give rise to our emotions, and more. The author gave plenty of examples and exercises to master the emotions, just as advertised. Overall very good, lots of research, and I'll probably benefit if I read it again, from time to time.

This was life changing, I'm seeing everything differently. Better than their original book "Leadership and Self Deception". More relatable, clearer stories, and better context. This is now one of my favorite books!

This is probably the best book on actually getting what you want in life, without all that wishy washy stuff that keeps people stuck and confused This book is a life changer ... can't wait to implement this everyday for the rest of my life!

Sales Pitch

This book was mainly a sales pitch. Igor started off by hyping up the book as the solution, with an appeal to his success and then basically "this book is not for you if you're not serious" ... but then it proceeded to skip over any serious bits.

He gave tiny peaks into what he could offer, but then didn't go into sufficient details to help a serious listener.

He gave multiple "call to actions" to the webinar throughout the book.

On the positive side I liked that the author (1) told his personal struggles, (2) gave some thoughts on what to avoid and (3) taught some very basic short lessons.

Because I learned a little bit, I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

I also thought it was a good sales pitch, especially considering English is not his first language.

Good overview and Insider tips on Google ads

I read another book by Donald Rockwell which I later realized had tons of fake reviews, and was terrible, so when I saw the author's name, I thought this book would be a waste of time too ... and I almost returned it before reading it. But luckily I gave it a try and it turned out to be way better than his other book.

Donald really understands how to optimize a Google ad campaign, optimize ad sets, setup effective landing pages, how to retarget effectively, and how to focus on the biggest impact areas on YouTube, etc.

There are real gold nuggets in here, and it will improve my ability to advertise on Google and YouTube. So for this reason I'm giving it 5 stars.

Sorry for pre-judging the content. My only recommendation is to stop doing the fake reviews, as this made me super skeptical.

Anyways, good book. Thanks for writing it Donald!

Not worth my time

I wanted to like this book, but there was only basic level knowledge here. No examples. No major secrets, no innovations or insights. This book bordered on insult. It spent time telling me, as an agency owner what an LLC is, what a domain is, how to pick a hosting company ... lol

wow this is one of my top finds on audible

This was an easy listen with some intense stories and key lessons teaching how checklists can improve adjust any walk of life. It also gives practical examples of how to apply checklists effectively. My only complaint is the key lessons could have been condensed into a much shorter book.
