Paved in Venom by Sonja Grey (@sonjagreyauthor) is the second book in the Melnikov Bratva series. I already loved this book when I read it on my kindle. The audiobook just released today (07/30/24) and I had to immediately listen to it. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these two characters to life. I love Danil’s Russian’s accent!!!! This is a dark bratva romance so please CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!! The plot and characters are so amazing. I reread this series all the time because I can’t get enough of the characters. The spice is always so good and the romance had me blushing and swooning. The Melnikov brothers will always have a special place in my heart.

Simona was selfless and strong. She goes through something traumatic but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to help find the Melnikovs’ sister. I loved her connection with Danil. They had great chemistry from the beginning. Danil is a morally grey tech genius and I love how soft he is with Simona. He always puts her first. I love the brothers. Their brotherhood is so heartwarming and they just make me smile. Simona and Danil were perfect for each other! I literally could not stop listening to this story. The characters are just so great. This book had me laughing, giggling, and tearing up. I am so excited for Lev’s audiobook to be released! I highly recommend Paved in Venom and the entire Melnikov Bratva series is you like dark romance, Bratva, touch her & die, and morally grey MMC!

Paved in Blood by Sonja Grey is a dark Bratva (Russian Mafia) romance. This is the first book in the Melnikov Bratva series. I read this entire series on my kindle and I absolutely loved them. The audiobook of Paved in Blood was just released today (6/25) and I had to drop everything to listen to it. This audiobook was very well done and the narrators did a great job with these characters. Roman’s Russian accent was everything! Listening to this book was just as amazing as when I first read it. I am always rereading this book and now I can listen to it over and over again!

Roman and Emily are precious! Emily is such a sweetheart and I love how she never let her horrible parents make her bitter. Roman was just sexy and morally grey. He is the perfect Bratva man. The touch her and die vibes are immaculate in this book! I also love the found family element. Roman has four chosen brothers who are so close and the way they welcome Emily into their family is just so heartwarming. The bothers were all badass and funny in their own ways. Roman is so protective, loyal, and sweet on Emily. This man made me swoon so many times! The plot was also super entertaining and I could not get enough. If you love dark mafia/bratva romances then you have to give this book a read! Sonja Grey is a fantastic dark romance author and one of my auto buy authors! Her books are always five star reads and I am constantly rereading them when I get the chance!
