The best ending
Revisado: 01-10-24
The best final chapter I have ever heard, but you need to listen to the entire book as everthing builds to that chapter..

Historia
Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of eight, Camilla Pang struggled to understand the world around her. Desperate for a solution, she asked her mother if there was an instruction manual for humans that she could consult. With no blueprint to life, Pang began to create her own, using the language she understands best: Science. That lifelong project eventually resulted in An Outsider's Guide to Humans, an original and incisive exploration of human nature and the strangeness of social norms, written from the outside looking in.

Excellent review of scientific principles
Revisado: 09-02-21
This is a great perspectve on human personality. It would also be helpful to students struggling with basic science concepts in that they can see how scientific processes are intimate examples of human interaction. It may help with better comprehension of science.

Historia
In Compromised, Strzok draws on lessons from a long career - from his role in the Russian illegals case that inspired The Americans to his service as lead FBI agent on the Mueller investigation - to construct a devastating account of foreign influence at the highest levels of our government. And he grapples with a question that should concern every U.S. citizen: When a president appears to favor personal and Russian interests over those of our nation, has he become a national security threat?

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Motivational but rough
Revisado: 09-05-20
I like the story. It is a very powerful and motivating book. I did have a lot of problems with the over use of the words "fucj"and "shit". He did address this issue in a discussion session. However, many of us have had similarly hard lives but have learned how to communicate without using similar language. I would really like to share this book with my 15 year old grandson but I am extraordinarily hesitant due to the language. I would suggest that he take this as a challenge rather than sliding back on the excuse that he had a hard life. He could expand his vocabulary and re- write the book using different verbs and nouns to express his points. If he doesn't want to take the challenge that is fine, but I think it would be very helpful to him and his ability to get more people motivated and inspired, rather than telling them not to read or listen to the book. Otherwise I could relate well to his experiences.
