Its rare for me to not know whats going to happen next in a book. But this book had me fooled. It also had me glued to listening every chance I got. It even had me gasp out loud a couple of times.

Historia
Jack Diller is just one more struggling actor on the road to nowhere. He’s got an agent who barely remembers his name, his ex-girlfriend has hooked up with a Silicon Valley dude, and the milk in his fridge is so far past its sell-by date it’s historic. The only way Jack can scrape together a bare existence is by delivering food to exactly the types of successful people he wishes he could be. Then, one day, a very strange audiobook shows up on his phone.

An original idea for story
Revisado: 05-06-23
Oh, for a change, I have listen to a story that I didn’t know the ending to. It has been a pleasure. The author has created a character that’s totally new to me. And the voice of the character is truly entertaining and creative.. I highly recommend listening to this book.

I will miss Sookie Stackhouse
Revisado: 05-14-13
What did you love best about Dead Ever After?
I love the fact that Sookie ended up with the character I wanted her to end up with.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dead Ever After?
I loved hearing Sookie realize how many people were in her corner at the courthouse and then again at the bar.
Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?
Well, besides Sookie I think little Diantha is my favorite character.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely
Any additional comments?
I'm truly puzzled by the negative criticism. I agree that other books have been better but to say she shouldn't have put all the characters in is just wrong. Personally I don't want to WONDER what happened to everyone.
Spoiler:
I am disappointed in how Eric's character was handled. Obviously he had to be eliminated in order for Sookie to end up with Sam and I agree that most books seemed like they were heading for a Sookie/Eric forever relationship - however - In order for Sookie to be happy with the rest of her life she needed to be with someone that she could actually marry and have children with. Duh Eric probably should have been killed off instead of having him turn his back on her.
If there were a #14 I would expect Sookie and Sam's relationship to bloom!
And
What happened to the children? I half expected Sookie to end up with Eric and adopting her little cousin and the orphaned children of Arlene.

Historia
Indian Hill is about an ordinary boy who grows up in relatively normal times but who finds himself thrust into an extraordinary position. Growing up in suburban Boston, Michael enjoys the trials and tribulations that all adolescents go through, from the seemingly tyrannical mother, to girl problems, to run-ins with the law. From there he escapes to college out in Colorado with his best friend, Paul, where they begin to forge new relationships with those around them. It is one girl in particular that has caught Michael's eye, and he alternately pines for her and laments ever meeting her.

Couldn't Stop Listening
Revisado: 10-31-12
Where does Indian Hill Series #1: Indian Hill rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Indian Hill is Waaaaayyyyy up there on my favorites.
What did you like best about this story?
I bought it because I saw that Mike Talbot was the main character and Sean Runnette was the reader. LOVE them both
What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Someone else said thae Sean IS Mike Talbot and I couldn't agree more. He has captured Mike's personality perfectly. He also does female voices fairly well. So many men use lisps to use female voices but Sean just uses a softer higher pitch which is more to my liking.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The book held my interest from the beginning. When Mike Talbot had a reaction you can be sure that I had the same one. Anger, disgust, illness etc.

Not what it is cracked up to be
Revisado: 06-29-12
What was most disappointing about E. L. James’s story?
The main character was totally unbelievable. And I got really sick of hearing her say "Oh my!"
Would you listen to another book narrated by Becca Battoe?
Maybe. Her voice is pleasant.
What character would you cut from Fifty Shades of Grey?
All of them.
Any additional comments?
I didn't find this book the least bit erotic. In fact it frequently got boring. The characters were poorly developed and unbelievable.

Keeps You Guessing
Revisado: 12-07-11
What did you love best about The Silent Land?
I love stories where the main characters are married or at least in love. This is such a story. As the story builds the mystery increases. You will form one conclusion only to have it wiped out a few pages later. By the end of the book I was pretty sure I had it figured out and almost did but the author still managed to surprise me with the way other elements fit in to the picture.
