Historia
When New York-born Cassie O'Hara decides to use the money her sassy Irish nana Nora left in her will to book a month-long stay in a quaint country village, she's expecting a cozy cottage, steak-and-ale pie and plenty of Christmas cheer. Instead, she gets a draughty disaster covered in dust, a temperamental stray dog and two devastatingly handsome men vying for her attention… There's Charles, the dashing English aristocrat with an enormous manor house and a heart of gold. And Ryan, a curly-haired Irish handyman with a past he won't talk about and an accent that makes her weak at the knees.

Historia
Sometimes, the worst day of your life happens, and you have to figure out how to live after it. So Clementine forms a plan to keep her heart safe: work hard, find someone decent to love, and try to remember to chase the moon. The last one is silly and obviously metaphorical, but her aunt always told her that you needed at least one big dream to keep going. And for the last year, that plan has gone off without a hitch. Mostly. The love part is hard because she doesn’t want to get too close to anyone—she isn’t sure her heart can take it.

Cute but boring
Revisado: 12-20-22
The story was cute but man did I struggle to keep going, I found myself turning the story on and walking away from it several times. The storyline was very generic.

A hard listen
Revisado: 10-10-22
This story was a hard listen. I know there is a warning that it has triggering content/storyline and it lived up to that warning. Very different from Hoover’s other works.

Hated everything about this book
Revisado: 11-21-21
The main character set women back with all of her complaining and selfishness. I found her whiney, insecure and flat out annoying. I kept going with the book hoping it would get better, but it didn’t. So disappointed.
