Historia
Alan returns to podcasting, offering his unique perspective on life’s big questions, the hot-button issues of the day, his professional successes and the most intimate details of his personal life in a series he is already calling ‘seminal’. The second series will come partly from the oasthouse—in order to satisfy people who'd rather he didn’t mess with the format—and partly from other locations—to appeal to those who found the original format a bit limiting.

Historia
In a time when our political and cultural views feel more polarized than ever, Tyson provides a much-needed antidote to so much of what divides us, while making a passionate case for the twin chariots of enlightenment—a cosmic perspective and the rationality of science. After thinking deeply about how science sees the world and about Earth as a planet, the human brain has the capacity to reset and recalibrates life’s priorities, shaping the actions we might take in response. No outlook on culture, society, or civilization remains untouched.

Thoughtful and Engrossing
Revisado: 10-19-22
I have always enjoyed the astrophysics and cosmic content of all of Dr. Tyson’s work, but this book is a brave voyage we all should make.
In the same company as Harari’s ‘Sapiens’, Starry Messenger is a window on Humanity, and the lack there of, guiding the reader through introspection to truly understand the power of developing an open mind by way of a Cosmic Perspective.
Even the most open minded readers will find themselves reflecting on Tyson’s insights and learn from him as he helps them attain another level.
Thank you Dr. Tyson.

The opening hooks you in and the historical significance of the Science subjects touch upon will keep you listening so much that you will probably listen to the book in its entirety.
A great listen!

Born into a changing world of rationing, Teddy Boys, apes in space and the launch of ITV, Alan’s broadcasting career began as chief DJ of Radio Smile....

This book is a must. Alan takes you through the backstory of his two series (which you really must watch prior to listening), and onwards explaining what happened after series two.
If you love Brand Partridge, you will love this book.
