Historia
Both Rohr and D'Arcy believe that much personal and church confusion could be helped by clearly distinguishing the tasks of the two halves of life. Much of institutional religion is concerned with the tasks of the first half of life. The need for adults is to move onto the tasks of the second half of life, which are much closer to the concerns of Jesus, Buddha and the mystics of all religions.

Very, very good book

I signed up for a retreat where Paula was speaking but didn’t know anything about her so I searched audibles and found this book. Glad I did. Wisdom just flows out of her. Apply some self-love and buy this book. Also didn’t know Richard Rohr, also now one of my favorites, not all his work, but he is on point here.

Historia
Acts of Faith is a remarkable account of growing up Muslim in America and coming to believe in religious pluralism, from one of the most prominent faith leaders in the United States. Eboo Patel's story is a hopeful and moving testament to the power and passion of young people - and of the world-changing potential of an interfaith youth movement.

Not what I was expecting

Didn't resonate at all with me. Came across as an overly entitled person complaining about their life. Wow is me and super slow to listen to.
