Historia
A murder. A mystery. Two murders, actually. Well, three, if you’re counting. Oh, look, here comes a fourth... So much murder that skeleton detective Skulduggery Pleasant must annoy Valkyrie Cain, the infamous Destroyer of Worlds, with his incredible deduction abilities at every available opportunity. As Valkyrie’s irritation grows, the detectives sink deeper into a hidden world of dark motivations, festering hatred and unimaginable pain. And a teensy bit more murder.

A new beginning
Revisado: 04-22-24
This won’t be as emotionally deviating as Until The End, but that’s to be expected after what was basically a season finally.
However don’t set you expectations too low. This book is shocking, leans more into the horror side, and is hilarious. One minute I’m laughing and the next I’m hold I’m breath with fear.
TLDR: Good book, pretty scary, very funny.

Historia
Taken from life as an office drone by a trickster god, Tim finds himself in the magical world of Iocusinte, where change is his only constant. It grants him great potential, enough to be sought out by different factions looking to use him for their own ends. That potential, however, is mercurial. His Class and very appearance shift at random. If Tim is to survive long enough to enjoy this new world and the friends he's making, then he'll have to solve the riddle of his nature and learn to master the uncontrollable.

Let me save you a lot of time
Revisado: 09-12-22
Everything that makes this book interesting is immediately discarded. Cool fantasy setting with complex characters and an epic battle? They’re all killed off in the prologue. Main character has to navigate life with a mysterious class and an old man’s body? Just kidding he gets to reroll and becomes a hot black guy even though he was originally white. I’d be able to look over all of that (especially because the narrator has a hot voice) if the author didn’t go into detail about slavery and how bad the slavery was but just had the main character do nothing about it. Like it’s mentioned a lot but it’s somehow justified and although the main character is uncomfortable he says and does nothing about it.

Billions of lives will be wiped away in a final, desperate search for the Child of the Faceless Ones—she who is destined to bring about the return of humankind's ancient overlords. Wow just wow
Revisado: 08-23-21
Funny, tear-filled, and so much more of the Skeleton Detective we all can’t get enough of. I love this book and the only thing I can complain about is that after binging the entire series up until now I am going to have to wait for the next one.
