Something Fishy in the Language

I'm not sure why, but this is another book I've found recently on Audible where a thesaurus seems to have been used often and badly. In this book they refer to "the crash" of the stock market as "the accident".
I'm not sure the cause, but it makes for some rough reading.

Some of the strangest phrasing I have ever read

The book is written in an odd fashion. It reads like the author had a missing key on their keyboard, and they needed to rephrase every sentence around the missing key.
Looking through the reviews, it is a probability miracle that so many people all review the exact same three books and all gave the exact same three books 5 star reviews.
