Yes I would even with the defects listed below. Buy the book, support the author and enjoy the story. I just purchased the Audible books three and four in the series

What did you like best about this story?
That the author took the time to fill in the back story on those that were the bad guys and gals in the 100 year war.
What didn’t you like about Marc Vietor’s performance?
EVERYTHING! Great story, great author but less than great narrator. It would have been nice if the the narrator had listened to the previous stories and pronounced the names of some key people and places the same way as in the other books in the lost fleet series.
Yes I have examples. The female leader of Midway's President was pronounced "ISinE' " in the other books and now is pounced " ISinI' and another example is Co-President of the Calas Republic has been pounced as "Co-President Reown" and is now being pounced "Co-President ReownE" I have not seen any of these names in print so I have no idea of the correct spelling but I do know what they have always sounded like and hearing them being mispronounced ruins the mood and the flow of the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes all the books in this series are written so as to deprive the listeners of much needed sleep. Audible has a sleep timer in the software that has saved me more than once from becoming a sleep deprived zombie.

To Jack Campbell keep on writing your great at it and go back to the previous narrator as he was great at his craft also.

This is a great audio book. You feel as if you are on the raft with this poor soul. You feel his pain and joy. When you are through with this book you will feel like you lived the story also.

Great story. Poor audio book. The story would be best abridged the writer is long on words and short on story. The writer spent to much time on his relationship with god and self and too little time telling the story. A much better book is titled "Alive". Skip this one if possible unless you like boring.
