Historia
On the edge of the galaxy, a diplomatic mission to an alien planet takes a turn when the Legionnaires, an elite special fighting force, find themselves ambushed and stranded behind enemy lines. They struggle to survive under siege, waiting on a rescue that might never come. In the seedy starport of Ackabar, a young girl searches the crime-ridden gutters to avenge her father's murder; not far away, a double-dealing legionniare-turned-smuggler hunts an epic payday; and somewhere along the outer galaxy, a mysterious bounty hunter lies in wait.

Enjoyabke Side Story
Revisado: 06-05-18
I enjoyed this Side Story even though it didn't have one of my favorite characters Skippy in it. However this story was very fun it was interesting to see what was going on on Paradise shortly after the Dutchman left. I would actually like to see another one of these later on, to see how the humans are faring Paradise.

This book and production was amazing!
Revisado: 01-11-18
I can't say enough about this book and how much I absolutely loved the story and the production.
Things that I liked about this book: The progression of the book is steady there is maybe only a few parts where it slows down and drags a little bit but for the most part this book moves along very nicely. I also enjoyed seeing the concept of Science Fiction from the 50s. it was extremely entertaining to see what the author took from our society to emphasize or dramatize on to the rest of the Galaxy, I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the character's, there were some very emotional moments for several of them and there is even a moment where I could say I felt bad for what many people would say is the bad guy of the story. I highly recommend this to anybody that is looking for a good science fiction.

nice change of pace for a zombie book
Revisado: 12-19-17
I've been so used to just zombie novels that follow the inexperienced Survivor or super prepper or something of that nature. it's kind of fun to listen to what they have to go through an experience but I've really enjoyed the change of pace with it being trained soldiers still running missions for Humanity.

This was a fantastic novel I enjoyed the characters immensely. their concepts of this survival situation that I don't think have ever been addressed, in other books and it was really well written. the characters felt real the Situation's felt believable. all and all this was a very well-made book. if you're looking for a good zombie book go no further cuz this was good.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Historia
As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. But above the remote planet Akiva, an ominous show of the enemy’s strength is unfolding. Out on a lone reconnaissance mission, pilot Wedge Antilles watches Imperial Star Destroyers gather like birds of prey circling for a kill, but he’s taken captive before he can report back to the New Republic leaders.

Good book.
Revisado: 08-22-17
I found this book to be interesting. I felt like it went a little slow at times, and opened whole bunch of stories that it never finished, probably because they're going to be in the next book and the one following, but it would have been nice to not have so many lines open at one time. overall I found the book enjoyable and fun to see how some of the average people in the Galaxy felt about the Empire. It was also nice to have a Star Wars novel that didn't focus on force users. the main characters were very compelling and it was fun to see them overcome the challenges that they were put in. I feel like it was a good intro to a Trilogy about the after effects of the Empire collapsing, and the start of the new Republic. As well as seeing the challenges that both the Empire and the new Republic have to face in the Galaxy as they both strive for control.

Historia
The year is 2033. The world has been reduced to rubble. Humanity is nearly extinct and the half-destroyed cities have become uninhabitable through radiation. Beyond their boundaries, they say, lie endless burned-out deserts and the remains of splintered forests. Survivors still remember the past greatness of humankind, but the last remains of civilisation have already become a distant memory. Man has handed over stewardship of the earth to new life-forms. A few score thousand survivors live on, not knowing whether they are the only ones left on Earth....

Really interesting story but slow at times.
Revisado: 04-10-17
Over all I really enjoyed this book, the characters were nice the voice acting for this particular read was really well done. the hardest thing for me was that there were, a few points in this book, where it's slowed down a lot. It seemed like the chapters dragged along and weren't really doing anything. however I would still suggest this book to anybody who wants a post-apocalyptic not zombie book.
