The writer indeed has developed rather controversial views about art and artists (as Mandy Patinkin rightly observes in his preface). I tried to avoid this fact, but sometimes he is so arrogantly misinformed or opinionated that I had to grid on one tooth to brush his dumb delusions aside. Overall a very interesting read given that we have to acknowledge that it comes from a sometimes unintelligent and misinformed source who understands the world he lives in from a lob-sided angle.

I would have preferred another .more professional reader, as this one constantly runs out of breath and one can hear clearly where there were

There are some incidents which I needed to know more about but then I suppose is the prerogative of the writer to say what he wants to share. PS Why does the narrator pronounce theatre “thie-hater”?

Must say it wasn’t quite what I expected it to be. Personally I would have preferred a third less rambling about food and diets and a wee bit more info about the interactions between (all) the personalities who came together to give us the phenomenon called Take That. Also I would have preferred a more toned down delivery - our hero goes bananas now and then and let’s face it; he is a fantastic singer , not a genial comedian. But I still love him.

This audiobook is a work of art. The presentation , compilation and talent of the voice artist is phenomenal. Please ignore all the stupid remarks by unintelligent beings. You will want to listen to this a couple of times.

It stays a powerful story

I’m amazed that for a few decades humanity went crazy. First of all no lessons learned from WW1 and then a few years later the brutal change by cultures to facism communism and brutal political dedication to savagery. But then, this could be applied to any year on earth when humanity joined.
