Mind Blown!!! But the pronunciations 😩

I’ve been a fan of this trilogy for quite some time and have read the books and listened to the amazing audiobooks. It was the audiobooks that allowed me to really delve into the world and understand the cultures of the various groups in Brent Weeks’ world. Having that already established set of pronunciations in the fandom made it very difficult for me to be excepting of, many of the very different ways that this dramatization has chosen to pronounce key names. That is quite literally the only thing that stops this from being absolutely flawless. Well done to everyone involved and I can’t wait to listen to the next one (Though book 2 is far more depressing, and book 3 brings it home in the best way!)!

“The Land” fan…I finally tried it…and It.Was.Good!

Like so many fans of Dr. Kong‘s breakout series the land, when gods eye was released, my primary emotion was annoyance that time was spent on anything other than the next series of books in the story that I had become completely engrossed in. However after receiving a recommendation from my brother, I decided to take a chance, and while this saga is far more dark, It is still rich and engrossing, and very well done. I’m looking forward to this series as well!

I’ve listened too the first seven books and while Founding couldn’t be any better, each book is remarkable better than the last! I’m hooked and one listen is definitely not enough! High Praise and Well Done to both Mr. Kong and Mr. Podehl!
