Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Historia
Druss, Captain of the Axe: the stories of his life were told everywhere. Instead of the wealth and fame he could have claimed, he had chosen a mountain lair, high in the lonely country bordering on the clouds. There the grizzled old warrior kept company with snow leopards and awaited his old enemy, death.

A rare achievement!
Revisado: 11-17-18
Rarely does an author tell a story with such realism. The characters in Legend are not the perfect heroes we see in many fantasy novels. Gemmell has created heroes that you will love all the more for their flaws. A great story by one of the most underrated authors ever to put pen to page.
The narrator was also one of the best I have heard. This is truly a great book to listen to as well as read. Highly recommended!

Historia
Killing has never been something Keo shieded away from, but the events of the last year have made him rethink his bloody past. Now, Keo has embraced his old ways and set his sights on a new target - and there is nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose. For Lara and those on the Trident, an encounter with a new group of survivors pulls them even further off course. It doesn't seem to matter how hard Lara tries to steer clear of Mercer's war on the ghouls; fate seems intent on drawing her into the conflict.

8 Books in, and the story is still fresh.
Revisado: 09-22-17
This series continues to not only hold my attention, but I have found myself taking longer routs to work, and driving slower just so I can hear a few more minutes.
Adam Danoff excels as usual with the narrative, the characters are easy to love or hate. Great listen!!!!

Could not stop listening!
Revisado: 07-25-17
Sisavath has done it again! I made every excuse I could think of to be in my car so I could keep listening to this fantastic story! The new characters introduced are great, the story stays fresh, and the action never stops. Cannot wait to listen to the next installment in this fantastic story!

Historia
Polgara is the epic culmination of a magnificent saga, and a fitting farewell to a world which, once experienced, will never be forgotten.
She soars above a world of warriors, kings, and priests. The daughter of Belgarath and the shape-shifter Poledra, she has fought wars, plotted palace coups, and worked her powerful magic for three thousand years. Now, Polgara looks back at her magnificent life, in this fitting crown jewel to the saga that is the Eddings' Belgariad and Mallorean cycles.

Great Book, HORRIBLE Narrator
Revisado: 04-15-17
Including the books in the Belgariad series, Mallorian series, and the stand alone Belgarath the Sorcerer, this is the twelfth book in this series. David Eddings is my favorite author, and I LOVED the performances of the previous books, so I was very excited to hear Dina Pearlman perform Polgara. I was so disappointed! She changed the pronunciation of almost every name in the book in relation to the earlier narrations. I understand Thant some people may pronounce things differently, but some of her pronunciations don't even follow the spelling. She pronounces Ctuchik (proper pronunciation is Toochick) Chewtick?!?! There were eleven previous books and in all of them the names were pronounced properly. Maybe she should have listened to one of them first. Ruined the story for me.

Her hair streaked white by her father's first touch, her mind guided by a mother she will not see again for centuries, Polgara begins life in her Uncle Beldin's tower, and in the prehistorical, magical Tree that stands in the middle of the Vale.
