New narrator kinda made it difficult.

This book has new narrator and overall I can’t say he did a bad job. I also dont mean to sound petty over pronunciation. However this poor fella mispronounced every Norse origin word. Definitely could have used an hour or so looking up some pronunciation guides for words with a J. It doesn’t exactly ruin the story or anything but it did kinda pull me out of the story with the constant butchery of Norse words.

Started this series just about two weeks ago and wasn’t able to pace myself and wait for the monthly credit. I figured I’d just buy the next book to see what happened…. 5 times, Within two weeks 🤔 I’d say it’s worth it.

Was Watching the Show Andor recently (from the Star Wars franchise). Andy Serkis was in a couple episodes and had a thought. I should check and see if he narrates any books. I guarantee it would be damn good.To then find on here that the man just released TLOTR recently! I don’t think I need to mention it. I will let the man speak for himself….. fruit was to low, had to pick it 🤷🏻♂️

Simon Vance makes even some of the less good books a joy. With the writing and performance of this series it kept me well interest and eager to hear what was next. Enough so that I finished all 6 in a 5 day Period. I work alone and found reasons to stay in my shop and listen .

Waiting on book three

These books are excellent can't wait till the next installment comes out on audible. If it ever comes out. I find audible constantly only publishing half of a series or 2/3 of one. Then no more. And being dyslexic just going and buying the book isn't an option.
