Mesmerizing tales and brilliant narration. Some are spooky, some romantic, some sad but all are engrossing. The stories are set in Africa but sure to be universally enjoyed.

So jump into the Kabu Kabu and escape for a bit.

Weird, prescient and many layered, it’s a compact play and very well performed & produced.
I’m not a real sci-fi fan, but I enjoyed this.

The story was alright but the breathy, lisping narration was annoying. It may be the director thought it would sound intimate but it just sounded vapid.

Get ready for goose bumps!

It starts out puzzling. What happened? Who did it? Can we trust this narrator?
Then the author cossets the reader with pleasant, mundane details. The atrocious crime becomes almost abstract, as in a traditional cozy-mystery.
THEN- the puzzle pieces begin to fall into place - from that point you won’t want to but the book down or turn off the lights.

The narrator does an excellent job on the main character but struggles to do male voices. The text has too many “She said...” to work well in a audiobook. When reading text you can just skip over those so repetitive “she said...”. ...”she said...” ....”she said...” is less distracting.

Ridiculous

Timber rattlesnake active on a cold autumn night — REALLY! The story was tedious but when I got to the part where a guy prepares to shoot a snake on a cold night IN THE DARK - well I decided the authors just don’t have enough respect for their readers. The writing style was, also, irritating - heavy handed descriptions of setting and lots of cliches.

Lots of fun and a great main character

Wonderful main character, lots of fun action and the dialog is well written. The plot dragged a bit in parts.
Overall charming and engaging mystery- and Viva is a great friend to hang with.

Brilliant narration

This is short, so there isn’t much setting description. I especially like her portrayal of the challenges faced by two 20-something career women.

Amusing, suspenseful, funny -the plot, the characters and the action all work together in this audiobook you won’t want to put down. The performances are really good too.

Great fun and thought provoking, too

Admit it, sometimes you just want to be outrageous, let out that mischievous imp inside you. Well Harry does just that -
“ All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts...”
And life is improv

Billy Crudup gives an outstanding performance. I wish I’d seen this live and I’m glad I listened to the recording.

Too precious for me

Not my style but maybe it is yours.
The narration was very good, but for me the story was like binge reading inspirational greeting cards. I was expecting something like “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran; this is not.
