coming back around to this book years later in audible form is such a gift and brings new life to old pages and special I'm raised of an author gone too soon

breathtaking. My cynical heart broke open. It is a combination of theology and storytelling with a splash of preaching , but mostly it's like sitting with a friend on the edge of your seat hearing where they've been after a long separation.

I bought it as soon as it released, having first read Khang in More Than Serving Tea and the subsequent blog 12 years ago.

I went the audiobook route first as that tends to be the only way I have time to "read." She narratives her own book with such character I felt like I had a friend in the car and I was sad when it was over. (I actually emailed her and told her this like a creeper). Then I bought the paperback to write in. The book has seen a lot of wear and tear since and is picked up by students in my office all the time.

Khang exegetes with such skill, brings wonderful practical application, and the perfect touch of her witty humor to make this a challenging yet enjoyable read.
