I love how Portia can take the most obvious tropes and make them hilarious and interesting! it's a nice summer listen or read, I did dislike one little thing but I'm not a writer and don't really know how she would remove it without making the whole story less funny

The love story was garbage I only kept listening thinking the mystery would get better spoiler alert it didn't. She is such a teenager, one minute she's screaming at him that she doesn't have to do what he says the next she's firing every pretty woman who works around him and screaming at him for smiling at workers... it just keeps on like this over and over again. I lost count on how many times they broke up and she is confused every time when he doesn't come crawling back.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. so far all these writers'stories are great mainly because the characters talk things out! they don't jump to conclusions. this one is my favorite it's so cute the lead woman is so kind.

I like it enough it's a good story but hate it when the adult lead acts like a child doesn't have simple conversation with potential lovers gets in own head doesn't accept normal explanations...

The character we love from previous books suddenly loses all his morals and SAFETY protocol because she's a pretty brat and only at the very end do we uncover she has a tiny bit of personality and values but the point he should have said no in the beginning middle middle again and end! What was seen in the selfish twit during the whole adventure I'll never know, oh yeah looks I forgot.
