Historia
The cold, isolating feeling of emotional abuse is unlike any other. It's damaging, draining, and downright unfair. Being afraid and living in a constant state of fear becomes a way of life when you suffer at the hands (or words) of an emotional abuser. Being bullied, verbally abused, berated, and controlled is the norm when you're on the receiving end of emotional abuse.

Historia
Dr. Ross Greene, a distinguished clinician and pioneer in the treatment of kids with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, has worked with thousands of explosive children, and he has good news: these kids aren't attentionseeking, manipulative, or unmotivated, and their parents aren't passive, permissive disciplinarians. Rather, explosive kids are lacking some crucial skills in the domains of flexibility/adaptability, frustration tolerance, and problem solving, and they require a different approach.

some helpful insights.. language is hard and more caution
Revisado: 02-12-21
This book talks about 3 plans..how to deal with explosive child
The best option plan C according to Dr. Green.
It was generally good to hear what can go on with explosive child personality.
Three plans are mainly common sense that are not news for our family.
However, on plan C ( 1. 15 min) to the Book the advice is to drill ( means digging for more information). In one example child doesn’t want to go to school with more drilling from his mom she finds out that boy in the play ground hits her. Then Mother’s reaction “ Hit Him Back” that’s Dr. Green advice for explosive child personality?
Wow. It is highly disappointing. The advice is to the child is to use her hands.
I guess next drilling will be on the topic of debauchery and conduct disorder in the principal office.. with this advice “ from the mother”.

would rate 5 stars if not for swearing words
Revisado: 08-07-19
This book has some good points. Not everything appeals to me personally. I had my doubts by the name of the book that its not my style..
Disappointing that author uses swear words def can not listen weather kids can hear it or not.
