Very pleasant. Warm and heartfelt. I also liked the way the story unfolded - how we got to view everybody's separate perspective. Very much worth the listen.

It went on for too long. I know it's a little over 5hrs and that might not be long to some so here's why I said it. It started out well, the eerie chill of realising something isn't quite right in the house yet not knowing exactly what. But as the story goes on, as a mystery lover, I could put 2+2 together fairly easily. So as it went on I kept thinking that we can get the full picture now or now or now. It felt repetitive and like a drag. I liked the outlandish nature of the host initially but it got annoying with her unvaried remarks to the guest. It left off on a flat note as well. Can be enjoyed by someone, no doubt, but it was simply not my cup of tea.

Pretty & filling

Short and convenient. I was left satisfied with what was said. Beautifully said. Creative and so different. The perspective. I could relate to her love her grief her health her spirit. Glad I got a glimpse into the world this piece holds still I don't think it's for everyone. But if you do look and listen, do so with some grace as part of your judgement.

Her voice is lovely and perfect for carrying the msg across. I love the format it was presented in as well - each diff chapter she'd give a description or back story or insight the provide more details. I also very much loved the "love letter" at the end 🤍

grisly revenge

book had me in Jake's corner the whole time no matter how harsh his punishment was for the "pigs"
it gets pretty gory for the imagination so this is not for the faint of heart... for the right audience (as distinguished in the summary) it is just right

these stories bring light to the in-between conversations where the background characters get a voice too.. The stories were quite entertaining! Drive around with the ice cream man while you fold your laundry, listen to how the sandwich maker is doing while you take a walk, hang around Victoria and the boys while do some other thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this book of short stories makes you wish they were full length
the stories are so creative and creepily eerie, in an intriguing way, I had to pause before starting the next one just to digest the previous one which is not a bad thing.. This is definately one that I'll listen to again!
