Revisado: 12-17-24
I absolutely loved this book. It beautifully weaves lessons passed down through generations to instill family values, respect, and integrity as cornerstones for living a fulfilling life. The sections are not only relatable but also deeply reinforcing, reminding readers of the importance of integrity, love, and hard work. This book serves as a guide to appreciating what you have and showing respect for those around you—something our world could use more of today.
I highly recommend this as a must-read (or listen)!

If you are looking for an entertaining and engaging book. Give this a listen.

I decided to listen to this audiobook, by Raf Lindia during a recent long road trip. It made the trip so much more enjoyable. The book pulled me in and had me looking forward to each new chapter.
It was set in multiple eras from present day back to the 16th century, bringing a wonderfully intriguing plot that twists and turns itself into a thrilling story.
The characters were well developed and allows the listener to get into their frame of reference, making them relatable and engaging.
I couldn’t wait to get back into the car after our rest stops so I could keep listening!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an entertaining and engaging thriller!

Historia
Robert Iger became CEO of The Walt Disney Company in 2005, during a difficult time. Competition was more intense than ever, and technology was changing faster than at any time in the company’s history. His vision came down to three clear ideas: Recommit to the concept that quality matters, embrace technology instead of fighting it, and think bigger - think global - and turn Disney into a stronger brand in international markets.

Loved it. Something to learn for everyone.
Revisado: 01-07-22
Loved this book. Being a big Disney fan, the magic of the Mouse has had a big place in our family. I am, however, well aware there is a business side to the magic. Seeing the evolution the company has had over the last couple of decades, it was amazing to get an insight into the way it happened.
Bob Iger illustrates his humane approach to leading the company through acquisition after merger after unfortunate incidents. A refreshing view into a corporate world that is sometimes tainted by impersonal approaches.
I would recommend this book to anyone leading people in a corporate setting, but there are also learnings for many other situations of life.

In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

One of my favorite audiobooks
Revisado: 01-06-22
I have listened to this book more than once. Trevor’s narration makes so much more entertaining, but the book itself is so good.
I was laughing and pulled in throughout. I highly recommend it!
