Too much full name repetition

I kept falling asleep and the only thing that woke me up was the name Wade Crowley ...over and over and over. Worst part is I can’t return it. I keep trying to finish it and I can’t.

I couldn’t get through it

I kept falling asleep and after the 5 time restarting from where I fell asleep, I gave up. It happens sometimes with some books🤷🏻‍♀️ I genuinely enjoy Langlais and think she has really fun stories but I couldn’t warm up to this one 😐

Great storytelling and wonderful narrators. I really enjoyed the pace of the story and the slow build to the romance. Also loved how the heroine is not completely reliant on the hero to save her. I love strong heroines and Feehan came through big time!

I enjoyed very much and think it's better to listen than watch the movie😉 the action stuff in the movie was super cool no doubt but its fun to imagine something different as you listen to the book

I love Feehan really

I couldn't get past the "game" scene, in which the guy holds her by the wrist.It triggered a fear response in me. Even in books and tv its unpleasant to see/read about a person in a position of power exercising it over someone weaker knowing they can't get away.It's not something we should be putting a rosy finish on or try to explain away after the fact. I was turned off so much so I didn't even listen to any of the excuses the main lead had to offer as I'm sure he did. I have enjoyed Feehan in the past but the increase in bad language and explicit scenes has soured me to contemporary romance. I know it's a work of fiction and just entertainment but I felt like this was supposed to be a fantasy male meant to save the damsel,her fall in love him but instead a single scene.. scared me. I read the reviews thus far and I see most people loved this story and that's great but there was a few who rated low also. I think ill pass on this series because of my own feelings. Peace🌸 let's all be good to each other and I still love Christine Feehan 💕

got a bit of everything and a dash of confusion

It's a really good plot and the reader is stellar but at the same time I felt the people in the book knew more than me. Kate's sickness seemed to take a very long time to fully manifest and yet Lucy seemed to be extremely concerned even though to start with Kate wasn't that ill, how'd she know she was getting worse? She seemed ok up till she couldn't eat anymore one day and her fingernails were discolored, it seemed so sudden to me. And the terror experienced when the ghostly sister visited her left me wondering how Lucy could barely stand after her encounter and yet feel that she meant her no harm, how'd she know that? Anyway I'm still listening and do enjoy the story but I have a lot of questions and it's pleasent to fall asleep to:) I love the reader

What was most disappointing about Christine Feehan’s story?

I literally kept falling asleep and I didn't feel like there was enough emotional connection between the guy and his girl.The way he spoke of her in discriptions, he refers to her physical appearance in a way I found distasteful. Also the names of the other people in the "club" are really strange and distracted me from the story. Going into a story for the first time is like meeting a potential friend and I either want to get to know the it or just stop. I couldn't make friends with this one.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Nothing, Jim F. narrates extremely well

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Judgment Road?

Any with the "hero" talking/thinking about the main leads ass,tits and fu$!ing her.

Any additional comments?

Just like to note this is the first book I didn't like from Christine Feehan and I love her work. This book just isn't my cup of tea.
