Quite Different than Movie

Since I saw the movie “The Disappearing Game”, on Hallmark, I became interested in reading the book. In the movie series, Robin is only in two movies. Here he is Roe’s new husband. I liked that. Phillip is her half brother not her cousin etc. Beside character changes, the plot line is different although not more believable. But one reads to be entertained and this book does that. I listened not only in the car (where I almost exclusively listen) but had to complete chapters in the house. I’ll certainly buy more books from this author.

I read book many years ago and it was now my pleasure to hear it. Performance, accent and use of different languages in context broaden the printed word. The last chapter telling what has happened since and today's challenge were very meaningful.

While downsizing my bookcase, I took 7 paperbacks of the Rabbi Small series to a used bookstore. I immediately regretted it until I bought this Audible edition. The narration is very good and kept me interested in the details that I missed when I read the book. This is one time I like the Audible better than the printed book and that is rare for me!

It is hard to believe this was narrated by just one person. I enjoyed the "different voices" . The story line was exciting and kept me wanting to hear more.
