Historia
Kate McGuire’s life was sweet in Manhattan before she lost her restaurant job and fiancé both. But sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles, and soon she finds herself starting from scratch in the island town of Coral Cay, Florida. It has everything she’s looking for: sunny beaches, friendly locals, and a Help Wanted sign in the bakery shop window. Once she convinces the shop’s crusty owner Sam Hepplewhite to hire her, Kate can’t tie on her apron fast enough. Little does she know that trouble, like warm dough, is on the rise.

Cozy
Revisado: 01-18-25
I really enjoyed this cozy, cookie mystery. No over the top violence or descriptions. The characters felt like real people and I cared about the truth being found out. A cute town dog was. a great bonus! I Look forward to listening to the next book in the series.

But Leanne Morgan has defied the odds, reaching millions with her musings on hormones, low-rise britches, Weight Watchers, and her opposites-attract relationship with her husband, Chuck. In her charming southern accent, Morgan brings listeners inside her quest to find her voice after spending many years trying to figure out what that meant.

Great Conversation
Revisado: 07-02-24
I love listening to conversations that don't have an agenda. The topics meandered through bit and pieces of Steve and Craig's lives very naturally.

I adore this book! It is the most bookish book ever. The epistolary style is very well done. I loved the conversational feel.
Izzy and Brodie are perfect for each other 🥰
There are many gems of wisdom hidden in this story.
The two narrators are amazing! I can't believe all the different accents.

Revisado: 10-27-22
First, I must say that I love Mimi Mathews books! Belle did not disappoint. Julia and Jasper have a wonderful love story, despite the secrets. I will admit I did figure some of those secrets out but still loved how the truths evolved throughout the chapters.
The narrators did a wonderful job too. ❤️ I will be listening again.
