Historia
Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

Excellent
Revisado: 10-16-21
Absolutely one of the funniest things I’ve listened to in quite a while and informative on top of that. Of course Wil Wheaton does an excellent job with the narration, he can’t make a saving throw but we still love him in spite of that.

Historia
Eric - part-time king, quasi-avatar, and unconventional wizard - has an epic quest before him. He must return to his lost kingdom to save it, slay a creature claiming to be a god, and navigate the terrible risks of a paradox that could undo everything! And to top it off, he's trying to raise a daughter. Nobody said being a vampire was going to be easy, but none of this was in the brochure!

For the series as a whole
Revisado: 10-07-21
MC starts off decent in the beginning of book one and gets better and better, until the Demon King arc at which point he starts to get a little whiny. That mostly stops but he begins flipping between “oh no I don’t want to kill anyone because that’s wrong” then gets slightly angered and jumps to “I’ll slaughter them all” but then never seems to. I loved the series for those few moments where he would actually embrace himself for both who and what he was and go straight up Old Testament on people that deserved it. I wasn’t a fan of the existential crisis moments just because that doesn’t seem that realistic to me generally people like that tend to shut down or trudge on absent minded but very rarely do they function at a rather high level while more or less in full on freak out mode. I would generally expect someone who has flat out slaughtered as many people as the MC to be perfectly fine turning people into human salsa mid conversation at this point not having weighted deliberations on the ethical dilemma of killing. I’d more expect them to give it all the thought of popping a balloon at that point, I mean at his own hands his kill count has to look like a flipping phone number and has become embraced as a god associated with death in two worlds. Nevertheless, aside from that and a few slight logic flaws I only really noticed after reading the series for the third time, it is great and one of my favorites of all the series I’ve read. The characters are well flushed out and as always Sean Runnette does an amazing job. As a fan of Mark Tufo I’d love to have seen a little more of Talbot and BT there was some missed comedic moments with their appearances being as brief as they were but without a doubt an excellent story from start to finish.
