Is there a secret space program that is connected in some way to UFOs? Providing a wealth of data and context for the listener, historian Richard Dolan offers his own conclusion: Yes, there is indeed such a program. But this program is not a simple extension of the normal operations of the US government or military, much less of NASA. Instead, it seems to be the product of what Dolan has previously termed a “breakaway civilization”, a radically advanced and increasingly separate structure that has access to classified science and data denied to the rest of us.

I appreciate Richard Dolan's work. I will not buy another audio book narrated by a machine. The use of robots to narrate removes the human connection which is one of the unique and valuable features of audio books. Good bye robots

If you could sum up Runnin' with the Devil in three words, what would they be?
a compelling listen, an excellent performer reading this autobiography but by the end I wanted to strangle those self indulgent infants that comprised Van Halen.
Who was your favorite character and why?
the wife of Noel Monk, she was a consistently good person. Something that can't be said about anyone else in the story.

What made the experience of listening to Rod the most enjoyable?
I have been a Rod Stewart fan since the early 70's, the stories of how he and his bands got together and their times together were very enlightening and enjoyable. Rod is honest about his foibles and shortcomings, he has had way too much fun for one person.
Which character – as performed by Simon Vance – was your favorite?
Simon Vance is absolutely one of the very best narrators out there, the story of the life and times of Rod Stewart was a perfect match for such a fantastic narrating talent.
