Very drawn out to the point of boring, not much drama or action. The epilogue was very predictable even the 30 yr back in time when he was the one to put the ladder back, guessed that in the beginning.

I love Shane East but not the Russian accent, made him sound like a 60 yr old man ( not a 34 yr old). Felt the story dragged out. Tired of the gross manslaughter

Non romance novel

Lack of romance

This was not a romance novel but a Hallmark movie, except for a couple of steamy scenes.

Billionaire grump, the silliness!

I love Sebastian York however this was so beneath him. The story was more like silly 17 yr olds, one talks to his ferrets the other to her cacti. No depth to the whole storyline. I fast forward to just get to the end. Sorry I hate being negative but it was disappointing

Tangled innocence & Tangled deception

Walker Williams had a great voice, however not so much with the female protagonist, listening to her never ending whining and screeching voice was so off putting.
The story line was adequate, but there was all angst and anger thru 3/4s of it in both, romance was minimal and not very exciting. For the most part I really like Ms Foxes books but these 2 fell short

Thorns of lust

The storyline was engaging, however the monologues were excruciatingly long. I love the natural voices of the narrators except for the Russian accent— that ruined the moments ( they didn’t match the character, more like a 70 yr old Russian). Keeping Konstantin’s natural voice would have been more believable.

Mr. Masters

Strong female character, so many female characters I’ve read in other romance novels were silly with “ valley girl” conversations with their friends which leave me cold. Brielle was able to stand on her own. Mr. Masters was a bit over the top with his sex addiction but I forgave him and settled into it. Overall it was the best romance novel I’ve read so far.

Overall a good storyline but her foolishness in deciding to take out the enemy by herself, except she did have help, did not make sense. Why a cliff hanging ending? That was disappointing!
