Follow Alex as he’s suddenly teleported from his world to a strange new one full of magic, fantasy and danger! Visit a world full of elves, orcs, goblins and much more! Action packed from the get-go watch as Alex tries to make his way in this new world and not get lost in his new found ability and the affect it has on women with power.

Flame Dancer is the first book I’ve listened to in this genre and it was a fun time. I don’t know what I expected when I started this book but by the time it was over I was invested. I just wish it was longer.

The narration team was fantastic. Patrick DuBois did a stand up job. I was extremely impressed with Hannah Blaire and absolutely cannot wait to hear more of her.

Shoutout to Royal Guard Publishing for the copy!

This was my first non space marine story I’ve listened to after being a fan of 40K from the tabletop since 5th edition.

I found the story to be just compelling enough to not be labeled as merely “bolter porn” like most space marine stories often get labeled as, props to Dan Abnett for that.

This is the first book of the series and does a great job introducing key players and laying the ground work for the long game.

The narration by Toby Longworth was phenomenal yet again. He really adds to the overall story and helps keep the listeners invested.

Pros: More than just dumb action. Strong characters. Impeccable narration.
Cons: if you’re not already versed in the 40K universe it might seem confusing. Weak characters at times.

The Long Road Home tells the story of road warrior Jake and his struggle to bring his wife’s murderer to justice and brother, he just might find love along the way.

Overall the story was enjoyable, I listened to it in 1 sitting and with the help of Skylar Morgan’s narration I was fully invested start to finish. I haven’t read a book about a motorcycle club before and really enjoyed this one. I got major SOA vibes so props to the author.

Skylars strong voice took this otherwise decent story and elevated it; causing me to feel strong emotions at certain points and revelations as they arose.

Pros: the narrator was fantastic. The story is decent. It’s set mainly in New Mexico.
Cons: I thought there was way too much love being verbalized, brother. Sometimes the author was too superficially descriptive of things.
