I often wonder if someone like Ross from “Poldark”, or Utrid Ragnarsson from “The Last Kingdom”, after riding off on their horses, they’ve just left their wives at home with the children....now around the campfire in the forest on the way through their journey, they pull out their iPhones bring up social media and start scrolling all the sexy girls and fantasizing about what they would do with them.They didn’t have internet back then, so they thought about their wives and coming home to them and looking at their naked bodies again, and loving them and honoring them. If they saw a pretty girl they were attracted to they smiled, but didn’t look her up on social media later....
This is not some stuck up generational issue. Women are wired a certain way, men are wired a certain way, and we have always always been this way. Time does not change that. We all have choices, and Internet has changed everything. Many people are getting off social media because of the havoc it’s causing amongst couples of all ages.
The way we are wired has not changed, period.The world has, so now it’s up to us.

This book has been very valuable in getting my mind right with God and how he feels about me. It’s very well written. Unfortunately the narrator makes it hard to listen to. The way it’s read made me feel like I was in Nursery school. I kept having to imagine it was Joyce speaking. I would have preferred her. I still recommend the book but in hard copy.
